Not a bad novella. However the conversations are worded overly formal for my taste.The lack of details was the most off putting. For example... Hunter has to reach a business meeting. A meeting that will make him millions. His type of business is never mentioned, let alone it's name. Same thing with the car. An extremely rare car, with no make even brought to our attention.
I'm not asking for a whole page of discription, but maybe a simple one. Like, Hunter had to reach his meeting with the real a state developer. To expand his chain of hotels. Or, Hunter drove a Tesla. Not an actual rare car, just used one I like for a discription.
I have hope for the following parts.

Good but too short. I thought it was a full book. Other than that it was fine. Will need to make sure to get whole book.
So, I am excited about this series but a couple issues I had was some of the word choices were not correct or seemed weird choices to use. I think that's more editing than anything else. Also, the fact he murdered his wife in his bear form for some reason. Which isn't explained. Also, that his CIA friend covered it up making it completely unrealistic. If he killed her thats fine and covering up himself...thats even believable but having someone from a government agency breaking the law and covering it up...highly unlikely. It started to get good after that though and enjoyed the rest of part 1. I'm getting reading to read part 2.
Good thing they are free... Need to simply be one short story. Breaking it down made it worse. Not a great read by any means. Hopefully she'll get better at this.
This is a pretty good start to the series; however, the grammatical errors are definitely a bit of a distraction.
This review is actually for parts 1-4 as I have read all of those. The writing style was a little dry for my taste and there was nothing really exciting happening in this story. It was ok for a very quick read.
This is my first book by Emma Sparks and it wont be my last. I loved that I was hooked from the first page and that the characters were very well developed. I also loved that this story is very well written. I can't wait to read the next part in this series.
