A must read book for the students or the professional who are preparing or planning to appear to any exam. When I was preparing for any exam I had the same problem. Sometimes test anxiety level was high. Because I didn't know how to handle this I had to fight with that myself. But now I know that there is solution for this when I read this book.Author first explains about the various symptoms that can be recognized that you have the test anxiety. Then gives brief details about how to overcome this by doing some practicals while preparing for the exam and while at the exam. Author also mention that only reading will not help. Rather you have to do practice and repeat for every exam in life. That is really the best advice.
Other thing that I liked most about this book is the inclusion of topics on the fear of failing the exam and treating them as a war. Author, Dr. Marie gives detailed information on how to overcome this.
Overall very good informative book on this topic.

I thought this on line book was helpful. It had good ideas to reduce test anxiety and become more relaxed when taking a test. However I did see one major problem. Whoever edited this did a very poor job. There were a lot of incorrect words in relation to the sentence. I had to read certain sentences several times before I put in the word meant to be there for the sentence to make sense. Other than that I will try these techniques and see what happens.
This book will help you understand your test anxiety more and give scientifically proven approaches in overcoming this. It is realistic in explaining how to use the excercises in real life situations and reminds us that test anxiety is something we do have power in overcoming.
It's so important to be in peak state just before a test. I'm someone who's had acute anxiety before, and I've found meditation to be the best prevention/ cure. However, books like this can also help. Just think how much you're spending on a college degree. This book is very cheap in comparison and could help improve your grades.
This book is tremendously going to help people who have anxiety during tests. I was pleasantly surprised that this short book had every answer I was looking for. For me personally, I like when the author gets straight to the point and gives the reader the knowledge they're looking for. This book will give you great insights on the root causes of the anxiety, how to deal with it properly, and how much power you have to help yourself overcome. Good information, thanks Dr. Marie, I will give this to my daughters.
I was searching for a resource that would help my son with his anxiety during tests and came across this book by Dr Cheour. I then followed up to discover that Dr Cheour has a PhD in cognitive psychology and is a leader in her field. In this book, I particularly gained value from the information provided on optimal preparation for exams followed by how to take exams without fear and anxiety. I would recommend this book to students suffering from anxiety when taking tests as well as parents of younger students (like myself) to help them manage their anxiety in these situations.

There is something here about tackling negative thoughts and being fully present. These are like my most weak qualities. I’m glad I could find some useful support with this book.
A good book, definitely worth my time and money. When the title said ‘scientifically’ proven theories, I thought there would be a whole load of scientific mumbo jumbo. I like this book – not too long nor too short. Plus the visualization and other exercises were a great support.
The common symptoms of test anxiety which are physical, emotional, cognitive, and behavioral symptoms and you may experience one or more symptoms. Before you can achieve anything in life you must learn to set effective goals which applies to succeeding in exams. If you haven’t form clear goals, your mind has no idea what you expect of it. By reading books, you can learn to prepare for exams in an optimal way, how to set goals, how to be present, how to change your negative thoughts, and how to use exercise and supplements to prepare for exams. And you’ll finally learn to take exams free from fear and anxiety. Just right before the exam starts, close your eyes and give yourself a mental hug by giving yourself positive affirmations such as “May I reach my goals” or “May I be relaxed”. Pick positive affirmations that will help you get rid of your test anxiety. That's what this book is about!
